Konsumerisme Ramadhan

Saya termasuk orang yang sangat jarang menonton TV, untuk berbagai alasan. TApi semenjak ramadhan, iseng2 sambil nunggu maghrib atau imsyak aku jadi suka memencet2 remote TV…

Seperti ada suatu komando, kayanya semua stasiun TV getol banget menanyangkan program2 komedi.. dengan waktu yang bersamaan. Ini memang menunjukkan animo masyarakat yg teramat tinggi terhadap komedi2 ini. Yang saya herankan, setiap komedi2 tersebut selalu menanyangkan pola2 joke yang diulang, slapstick, dan memutar rekaman tertawa para penonton… seolah2 itu adalah adegan yang lucu… pola kejadian yg sama seperti sinetron..

That’s like seeing Chris Jon vs Mike Tyson.. Any reasonable person will say that is beyond comparison.

But I guess love and hope is not something to reason.
