Habib Rizieq’s trial
If you have the time to look at my previous posting regarding Front Pembela Islam FPI or shall I translated into Islamic Defense Front, this time I’ll try to tell the other side of the story. Sure u can claim me being inconsistent. But hey wise man says that the most unhappy people is the one who’s afraid of changes.
Today, I attend the trials of Habib Rizieq’s, the leader of FPI, and Munarman, FPI so-called team leader during the skirmish, in Central Jakarta Court. Brief summary of the case is there has been a clash, brawl, skirmish between a group of people called AKKBB in Ind: Aliansi Kebangsaan untuk Kebebasan Beragama dan Berkeyakinan (AKKBB) in Eng: Alliance of Nationhood and Freedom of Religion and Faith.. And between FPI. Please note that I do not address this incident as an brutal attack from FPI to AKKBB. Why? simply since it prevent us to see problems clearly as we have cloud our minds with prejudice to FPI as radical, brutal, immoral, etc u name it. (more…)
